I have to admit that glass is not a medium I have thought much about before now. My only approach to glass in my house is to remember to NOT give one to the kids at the dinner table. But as a designer myself, I’m always intrigued by the design process of others, so when I was approached by Andy Gersh of Los Angeles about featuring his glass designs,I was excited to meet with him and learn more about this new world of glass.

I’ve talked about the fabulous Christine Price on my blog before. She is a warm-hearted person, a great mom and happens to be a neighbor of mine. A few years ago, I found the cutest loungewear outfits at an L.A. shopping event and I couldn’t help but buy three sets. As it turns out, the designer behind these adorable, and oh so comfortable outfits is also a celebrity favorite. Carmen Electra, Nancy O’Dell and Tyra Banks are fans, too. Tyra likes them so much she offered them to her girls to wear on the first season of America’s Next Top Model. If you haven’t heard of Lydia Loungewear, you must take a look. Christine Price-Holy Handbags!

I had the opportunity to meet Christine and first view her designs at a boutique last December in L.A. First of all, I have to explain my slight obsession with handbags and spotting her work from across the room immediately caused a great chorus of all things beautiful to erupt in my head.
