Kempt Releases More Affordable Eco-Design
Kempt Handbags… A favorite of LDB is back with a new highly anticipated eco-design. I heard this was coming, so I’m excited to finally introduce The Pure Tote , an unstructured bag made of entirely all-natural materials including chrome-free vegetable dyed fine leather and linen thread. This piece is significantly less expensive than Kempt’s original collection, so it’s a great way to get introduced to Kempt’s quality and craftsmanship at a lower price.
The bag comes in neutral brown as well as black, and I absolutely LOVE the way the company philosophy is actually embossed in the leather interior. How cool! [...]
Kempt at the 2009 Independent Handbag Designer Awards
Recently, an LDB favorite, Kempt Handbags attended the Independent Handbag Designer Awards as a finalist in the category of “Best use of Crystallized Swarovski Elements”. I recently had the opportunity to talk with Kempt designer Erin Voorhies again. This time she shared with us her experience at the gala, the industry players who attended, and the outcome of the competition.
