Last night, I drove into L.A. to meet with fashion designer Ximena Valero. We first introduced you to this Mexico City-native a few weeks ago at FBI in the California Market Center. LDB had the great honor of sitting down with Frances Harder, founder of Fashion Business Inc. I was excited to learn how FBI and LDB could work together to offer resources and support to new designers. The FBI office is located in the California Market Center (California Mart). If you’re not familiar with this building, it is where fashion lives in Los Angeles. An L.A. Night of Fashion
Ximena Valero put on an amazing show last night at Fashion Business Inc. in the California Market Center! Her looks seemed inspired by the city of L.A. with bold colors, light fabrics and flowing “care-free” designs. Stacy Elder Herb (Little Designer Book’s newest contributor) joined me for a night of mingling with interesting designers, photographers, celebrity stylists, press, educators, and financiers.
