Designer to Watch: Jesica Milton

We love twitter! I’ve said this before, but we’ve really meet some amazing people in out twitter network. This award-winning emerging designer is no exception to the talent that we’ve found out there. Jesica Milton comes to us from her studio in Seattle with a fall collection that recently won her Seattle Magazine’s prestigious award for Best Emerging Designer. (Look for her spread in the upcoming September edition!) Of course, when I caught up with Jesica, I had to get the scoop. Here’s what she had to say to us:

Introducing…Aspiring Couture

I have to introduce you to one of my new favorite designer blogs. Allison O’Grady recently began Aspiring Couture when she felt that her strong interest in business and fashion could be paired together to help new designers get inspired to design with resources, tools and shared experiences. She told me, “…helping people is a major part of life, and to achieve your goals it is important to help others achieve theirs.”
