I’ve mentioned on twitter that I want to move to Chicago… just for the fashion.! The talent developing in Chicago lately is so impressive that and I knew that LDB had to be there to uncover these names…even if I couldn’t be. *sigh*

So I am thrilled to introduce Rachel Yeomans, our new Chicago Contributor. Rachel will be joining the LDB team as our eyes and ears in the Chicago area. Rachel’s extensive writing experience, strong business sense and eye for style is what makes her a great addition to our team. In addition to LDB, Rachel also juggles two other fashion ventures: RachelAnna Consulting (a business fashion consulting company) and her role as Creator and Editor-in-Chief of TheWorkingWardrobe.com.

Rachel Yeomans  has been writing, editing, and coveting fashion since her first magazine purchase. Upon entering the corporate world, she mulled over what to wear from the office to cocktail hour or how to glamor the trade show and golf outing without blending in or sticking out. She found herself constantly pondering how her business fashions could still pull off a sense of style. She then decided to take her love of fashion to the workplace, and see if her working wardrobe, while continuing to work for her, could work for others.
