Andrea Pohlot- Chief Writer and Founder

Andrea graduated with a degree in Advertising/Marketing. But as a young girl, she loved the world of fashion and design. Throughout grade school she vowed to never wear the same outfit twice. A little added flower, homemade headband, new accessory or sometimes just a pair of scissors would turn the “old” outfit new again.

Andrea pursued her career in Advertising for several years, but after becoming a mom of two, she came back to her first love as a designer herself. Now she has the great opportunity  blend the two worlds together, helping other truly talented designers stand out in the crowd. She believed that they needed a stronger voice to help tell their story. With great friends who helped get it started, she is now doing just that.  She lives in beautiful Southern California with her fabulous husband and two boys. Rachel Yeomans- Chicago Style & Event Contributorrachel_yeomans_headshot

Rachel Yeomans of RachelAnna Consulting, a business fashion consulting company, and Creator and Editor-in-Chief of TheWorkingWardrobe.com, has been writing, editing, and coveting fashion since her first magazine purchase. Upon entering the corporate world, she mulled over what to wear from the office to cocktail hour or how to glamor the trade show and golf outing without blending in or sticking out. She found herself constantly pondering how her business fashions could still pull off a sense of style. She then decided to take her love of fashion to the workplace, and see if her working wardrobe, while continuing to work for her, could work for others. In addition to acting as the eyes and ears for LDB in the Chicago area, she also keeps up on her own popular fashion blog. For tips on the best in business style,  read more from Rachel at TheWorkingWardrobe.com.

With a background in Real Estate, Sheryl has always had a strong eye for interior design and is using her connections and design sense to make it happen. After graduating from Pepperdine University, Sheryl pursued a career in Real Estate, Education and other creative endeavors. But the world of interiors was always intriguing to Sheryl. Colors you may not consider together, antique pieces mixed with modern style and re-finished eBay or flea market finds are just a little bit of what you might find in Sheryl’s home.

Sheryl is a strong creative thinker and is often found mulling over her latest and greatest invention or new business venture. Former roommates and longtime friends, Andrea called on Sheryl to add her expertise and design eye to make LDB even better. And…she does just that! Also a resident of Southern California and mommy of two, Sheryl is a busy woman but manages it all with a whole lot of style!
