The creative energy is buzzing and I always find fabulous surprises. In L.A., FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) is the mecca of fashion design. LDB has followed some of these emerging designers and we love finding new gems here everyday.

This runway show took place earlier this year, but if you haven’t already seen it…take a look, pick your favorites and don’t forget these names. Some on the top of our list are:

- Johnathan Webster’s urban look… Bad ass and amazing!

- Valentina Vardanyan created some yellow and gold metallic super sexy masterpieces!

- Lacey Osberg used a gorgeous color palette and every piece in her collection appeared carefully crafted and so wearable!

The Aspiring Couture website will soon be featuring designers such as Jesica Milton and Feathered Designs. The site will also offer profiles on all the local and new designers and even Aspiring Couture’s own line of handbags, shoes, and more.

In her offline world, Allison is working, volunteering, loves to sew, paint and generally stay busy. (Girl, I think you’ve got that handled!)
