Lovies by Bubbie Blue

If you consider yourself a eco-friendly new mommy, (or you know someone who is…and who doesn’t, these days) then you absolutely must know about this new product! Brianne and Christa began making lovies by Bubbie Blue to offer their own baby boys a 100% organic cotton alternative to many of the more harmful synthetic blankets on the market. They quickly whipped up two lovies for each boy to snuggle with and they were a huge hit!

After the great idea was sanctioned by two very little people, the idea soon grew into a successful line of transitional, eco-friendly baby items.

When describing how far they go to protect the planet, they say:

“Because we believe that even small choices can impact the environment, we work hard to run our business as responsibly as possible. We carefully select our materials and our suppliers, choosing organic, sustainable, U.S. -made (or fair trade) fabrics from companies who are also committed to a greener future for our children. Our products are ‘homemade’ - assembled by hand in our own homes, and not in sweatshop conditions in a far-off land. We even dye the ribbons ourselves, using the most eco-friendly methods available, and then pre-wash with eco-friendly detergent. All our packaging is reusable and we ship in recycled envelopes.”
